Impossible

I remember years ago someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love, I did. And you were strong and I was not. My illusion, my mistake. I was careless, I forgot, I did. And now when all is done there is nothing to say. You have gone and so effortlessly. You have won. You can go ahead tell them.
Tell them all I know now. Shout it from the roof top. Write it on the sky love. All we had is gone now. Tell them I was happy and my heart is broken. All my scars are open. Tell them what I hoped would be impossible.
